Casita Luna Mexican Restaurant

We made a quick stop through this little town and needed a lunch stop. Based on reviews we chose this little treasure trove. What an amazing place! We live 2 hours away and I am so sad to not be closer. This was such an amazing lunch with so much flavor. The portions were perfect. Everything tasted so fresh. We consider ourselves Mexican food snobs and this exceeded expectations. An absolute must for those whole enjoy flavor and authentic Mexican. The green salsa, pico de gallo, and beans were just some of the highlights. My husband highly recommends the Birria quesadilla with the dipping sauce you almost want to drink. The nachos supreme were incredible, as was the pork tacos. Support our local businesses and keep places like this alive. What a treat!

100% recommend!! Absolutely amazing food, made to order by very friendly ladies in a tiny kitchen. The restaurant is in a corner of a strip mall in an industrial part of town, but don't let it worry you -- the food is some of the very best Mexican I've ever had (and I've had a lot). Note that there are only a handful of seats indoors and out - a steady stream of locals were picking up carryout, which is always a good sign!

We randomly stopped here on our roadtrip out of florida, let me tell you IMMEDIATELY visit and try their food, do not let the bare location fool you, this is an absolute hidden gem. The staff was incredibly nice, and the food was AMAZING!!! They are currently remodeling their location next door so there is limited seating, but 100000% so worth it. The salsas, tacos, quesadillas were incredible. We definitely will visit again soon!!!

Don’t let the small space fool you, the meals are packed with a lot of flavor , Definitely recommend the Birria Quesadilla and the Burrito of Carne Asada and wash it down with one of the best Horchatas in Ocala

Stopped by when passing through and so glad we did! They were remodeling there location but had a small portion still open. Food was excellent!

One of the best Burrito I ever had! Small place with limited seating. Their side sauces were amazing and tasted authentic. Do try if you’re tired and bored of usual Mexican flavors you normally get in most Mexican places within US.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the spot for you! The Birria Quesadilla was a crowd favorite and the Al Pastor Torta was runner up for us. They have Birria Ramen on Saturdays and we are definitely coming back to try that in the future! The Horchata was 10/10. It was sweet and kind of creamy. The flavor reminded us of a charamusca de leche. Although this is a hole in the wall restaurant, you’ll completely forget about it with the amazing food!

For the last couple weeks I had been craving Mexican food. My son and I were traveling and picked this restaurant to stop at. We started with chips, salsa, and queso, which were all fantastic. My son ordered steak tacos and ended up ordering another one. He loved them. He is a picky eater and for him to ask for more is rare. I got the chicken torta. I didn't know what I was ordering but it was really good. The young man running the register and delivering food was kind and helpful. We would go out of our way to come here again. Thanks for satisfying my craving!
